Setting up archive replication

- Combine the master and the backup nodes into one domain (see Adding a Server to an existing Axxon- domain).
- Create a local archive on the master node (see Creating an archive).
- Add video cameras on the master node (see Adding Searching, adding, configuring, and removing IP devices).
- Set up video camera recording to the local archive (see Configuring recording to an archive).
- Create an archive for replication on the backup node.
- Set up the replication from the local archive to the archive for replication (see Configuring data replication). The replication period should be set to Always.

- a temporary archive will be automatically created in the С C:/temp_arch folder of the backup Server as a 10 GB file;
- video cameras will record into the temporary archive;
- replication from the temporary archive to the archive for replication will be simultaneous.

- to view the recordings when the master node was on the master Server, use the local archive;
- to view the recordings when the master node was on the backup Server, use the archive for replication (see Selecting an Archivearchive).
