Setting up archive replication

1. Combine the master and the backup nodes into one domain (see Adding a Server to an existing Axxon- domain).
2. Create a local archive on the master node (see Creating an archive).
3. Add video cameras on the master node (see Adding Searching, adding, configuring, and removing IP devices).
4. Set up video camera recording to the local archive (see Configuring recording to an archive).
5. Create an archive for replication on the backup node.
6. Set up the replication from the local archive to the archive for replication (see Configuring data replication). The replication period should be set to Always.

• a temporary archive will be automatically created in the С C:/temp_arch folder of the backup Server as a 10 GB file;
• video cameras will record into the temporary archive;
• replication from the temporary archive to the archive for replication will be simultaneous.

• to view the recordings when the master node was on the master Server, use the local archive;
• to view the recordings when the master node was on the backup Server, use the archive for replication (see Selecting an Archivearchive).
