With search Search by LPs , you can find allows finding the recognized license plates in the archive , as well as filter them filtering vehicles with recognized license plates according to the specified criteria.To

The search by license plates is available for the users with the corresponding access level settings (see Role). |
To do this, do the following:
- Open the required layout (see Configuring layouts).
- Click the required camera.
- Click the Search button located in the lower right corner of the surveillance window (see Search in archive).
- Set the Set a

By default, the checkbox is cleared. If you want to find the vehicle's unrecognized color, then set the checkbox 
Select all By default, the checkbox is cleared. If you want to find a vehicle amid all colors, including the unrecognized one, then set the checkbox Class Unknown The value is set by default. Note title Attention! The unit of vehicle speed measurement depends on the selected unit in the Speed detection field of the detector settings (see License plate recognition RR—Parking, Configuring License plate recognition RR).
To Direction Select the vehicle movement direction from the drop-down list Undefined The value is set by default. The vehicle movement direction isn't recognized Incoming The vehicle is moving towards the camera Outgoing The vehicle is moving away from the camera Country State Enter the name of the state: Axle count Enter the required number of vehicle axles. The value must be in the range [0, 50] - Select the Vehicle class from the drop-down list:
- Car;
- Truck;
- Bus;
- Motorcycle;
- Mini truck;
- Unknown.
- Vendor: enter the full name of the car manufacturer in Latin letters, case-insensitive. Correct spelling examples: Mitsubishi, Nissan, Hyundai.
Model: enter the full name of the car model in numbers or Latin letters, case-insensitive. Correct spelling examples: Outlander, Teana, Creta, 406 (for Peugeot 406).

- Color: set the color of the vehicle (seeConfiguring object color).
- Select the Vehicle headlights state from the drop-down list:
- Unknown;
- Enabled;
- Disabled.
- Vehicle speed: in the From and To fields, set the vehicle speed range depending on the unit of measurement selected in the Speed detection field in the detector settings (see Configuring License plate recognition RR):
Kmph: possible range from 0 to 450.
Mph: possible range from 0 to 280.
Vehicle direction: select the vehicle direction from the drop-down list: - Unknown—vehicle direction is not recognized;
- Incoming—vehicle is moving towards the camera; Outgoing—vehicle is moving away from the camera.

a search based on the selected criteria. The search results panel displays frames with vehicles whose license plates contain plates contain the text from the search query and also meet the specified additional set parameters.
A recognized license plate is outlined with a red border in the Surveillance window.
In the surveillance window, the recognized license plate is framed in red.
