The You can configure the People counter detection module can be configured using on the System settings menu, settings panel of the People counter detection object that is created on the basis of the Camera object on the Hardware tab , on the People counter detection settings panel, using the Camera settingsof the System settings window.

The To configure the People counter detection module is configured as follows program module, do the following:

1. Go to the settings panel of the People counter detection settings panel object.
   
2. Click the Settings button (1). The Detection settings window will openopens.
   
3. Specify the area of interest and the approximate size of people in the video imageon the video:
   1. Click the Stop video button to capture the frame of the video image (1).
   2. Click the Area of interest button (2).

   3. Using the left mouse button, select the four corners of the area on the On the captured video image (3) to be analyzed. Only one area may be so designated. If a second area is specified, then the first area will be deleted., specify the detection area. To do this, click the frame area and stretch the frame border that limits the surveillance area to the required size. You can add only one area. When you try to add the second area, the first one is deleted.

      To remove a selected the area, click the Image Modified button next to the Area of interest button.

      title	The area of interest is divided into two sectors—1 and 2. If an object moves from sector 1 to sector 2, it is logged as considered the entry of a visitor. If the visitor an object moves from sector 2 to sector 1, it is logged as considered an exit.

      

   4. Set Specify the required size, shape, and position of the sectors in the area of interest by moving their boundaries borders (1).
   5. If you want to swap sectors 1 and 2, click the Change sectors button (2).
4. Set Specify the approximate person size as followson the image:
   1. Click the Size of person button (3).

   2. On the captured frame of the video image, set specify the approximate person size . To do this, use the left mouse button to select a as the rectangular area using the mouse (4).

      To remove the person size, click the Image Modified button next to the Size of person button.

      

5. Setting Configure the module parameters:
   1. Go to the Parameters tab in of the Detection settings window (1).
      
   2. In the Frames processed per second [0.016, 100] field (2), set specify the number of frames per second that will be processed by the detection toolthe detector processes.
   3. Set the Reduce large resolution checkbox to create and process the new frame consisting of even lines of the initial
   frame (3)
   4. one when an ordinary frame appears.
6. Click the OK (4) OK button to save the changes and return to the settings panel of the People counter detection object.On the People counter detection settings panel, click the Apply (2) button
7. Click the Apply button on the settings panel of the People counter detection object.
