Installation of the Sentinel LDK Run-time environment for license keys

The Sentinel LDK Run-time environment is required for the operation of the license keys of the Vehicle the License plate recognition XR. The environment is installed

To install the Sentinel LDK Run-time environment manually, do the following:

  1. Download the haspdinst.exe installer.

  2. Run the command line as the system administrator.

  3. Sequentially execute the following commands from the folder with the downloaded installer:

  4. Restart the Sentinel LDK License

    5. Manage

  5. Manager service or restart the OS.

If you install the demo license, XR license plates of all available countries can be recognized. The demo license is valid for 30 days after activation of the software key.

The demo license allows you to recognize license plates from all available countries for 30 days from activation. To install the demo license, do the following:

  1. Download the archive with files to activate the demo license.
  2. Unzip the downloaded file.
  3. In the unzipped folder, run the file with the .bat
    4. file
  4. extension as administrator.
  5. Restart
    6. the Sentinel
  6. the Sentinel LDK License
    7. Manage
  7. Manager service or restart the OS.

To activate /update the license, do the following:

  1. Open the page on the target server in a browser
    2. and go to http

  4. vaxtor.com/ems/customerLogin.html.
  5. On the page that opens, in the Select File line, select the key with v2c extension.

    To get the key with v2c extension, you need to contact a manager of AxxonSoft.

  6. Click Apply File.
  7. In the Product Key field, enter the serial number.
    8. If activation is successful, the key is displayed at 
  8. Select activation type:
    1. If you have internet access, click the Online Activation button and follow the instructions on the portal. Activation will occur automatically.
    2. If you don't have internet access, click the Offline Activation button.
      1. Download the RUS (Remote Update System) utility from the Vaxtor portal.
      2. Run the RUS utility on the target server to generate a C2V request file.
      3. Upload the generated C2V file to the Vaxtor portal.
      4. Download the V2C file received from the portal.
      5. Open the following page in your browser on the target server:
      1. http://127.0.0.1:1947/
    10. devices
      1. ru.21.0.alp/checkin.html.
      2. Click Select File and select the downloaded V2C file.
      3. Click Apply File. After activation, an installed folder appears in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel LDK directory. The Sentinel Admin Control Center web application will display information about the installed license key on the Sentinel Keys tab.

Delete the license

To delete the license, do the following:

  1. Delete the V2C license file
    2. with v2c extension
  2. from the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel LDK\installed\ directory.
  3. Restart the OS.

  • When you delete the license, only the key is deleted. All counters of license restriction remain in the secure storage.
  • If you return the key to the root directory, it will be fully restored. Its counters will continue counting license restrictions from the moment when they stopped when the V2C license file

  • was deleted. The validity time of the license continues to count down even when the key is missing.

The license deletion is complete.

When you delete the installed folder with licenses, you must restart the Sentinel LDK Run-time environment:

  1. Press the Win + R

    2.  keyboard shortcut

  2. key combination.

  3. In the window that opens, enter services.msc and press Enter.

  4. In the Services window, find Sentinel LDK License Manager.

  5. Right-click Sentinel LDK License Manager and select Restart.

The Sentinel LDK License Manager service will stop and then automatically start again.
