The Map object is used to register and configure the Map interface object in Axxon PSIM, which allows creating and positioning the icons of the installed devices on the map of the protected area and using the icons to operate the devices.
The settings panel of the Map object is shown in the figure:

Table The table describes the setting parameters corresponding to the elements of the settings panel of the Map interface object.

1

The Identification number*
field

Automatically

Displays the identification numberof the Map object in the digital video surveillance system with distributed architecture

Sequence of numbers

-NA

From 1 and aboveto 2147483647.

Depends on the number of the Map objects in the digital video surveillance system with distributed architecture

2

The Name*
field

Enter the value into in the field

Sets the name of the Map object in the digital video surveillance system with distributed architecture

Latin alphabet, Cyrillic, digits, and service characters

Map

A line containing a sequence of any characters (letters, digits, service characters except > and < characters), case-insensitive.

Number of charactersfrom 1 to 60

3

The Disable
checkbox

Set the checkbox

Sets the status of the Map object in the digital video surveillance system with distributed architecture

Boolean type

Setthe Map object is disabled and isn't used

Clearthe Map object is enabled and used

4

The Display
drop-down list

Select the value from the list

Sets the Display parent object of the digital system with distributed architecture to which the given given Map object belongs

Name Names of the Display objects registered in the system

Name of the Display parent object.

Depends on the number of the Display objects in the digital video surveillance system with distributed architecture

5

The Search alarmed links recursively
checkbox

Set the checkbox

Sets if the recursive search for the objects on the layers is possible.

The recursive search is a search , where the transition from one layer, containing an object, to another layer, containing an icon, is performed by successive jumps to the the neighboring layers, using sequential links

Boolean type

Clear

Seta recursive search is enabled

Cleara recursive search is disabled

6The Search depth
field
Enter the value into in the field

Sets the search depth for alarms across map layers if the Map map is multi-layered. This parameter determines how many layers will indicate the alarm. The value can only be entered if the Search alarmed links recursively checkbox is set.

Sequence of numbersClear0
  • Empty field—search across layers
is not
  • isn't limited;
  • 0—related layers
are not
  • aren't taken into account during the search, that is, in case of alarm, only the layer on which the alarm
occurred
  • occurs will blink;
  • >0—indicates the number of layers through which the search
will be
  • is performed. For example, the
Map
  • map has
6
  • six interconnected layers, and the alarm
appeared
  • appears on the
3rd
  • third layer. If the key value
=
  • is 1, the alarm will blink on layer 3, as well as on layers 2 and 4

7

The Search for the shortest path
checkbox

Set the checkbox

Enables the search for the shortest path to the alarmed layer.

If there are several paths from the active layer to the alarmed layer, then the shortest path is automatically found and selected when the Alarm signal is received (only one icon, that is, the Link to layer, will blink in on the active layer, indicating the shortest path).

Works together with the Search alarmed links recursively option only

Boolean type

Clear

Setsearch for the shortest path is enabled

Clearsearch for the shortest path is disabled

8

The Over all windows when alarm
checkbox

Set the checkbox

Sets if Displays the window of the Map interface object can be displayed over all windows of active applications in case only for the currently active map layer if the Alarm signal is received from from any object on this map layer

For more details about the Layer object, see The settings panel of the Map interface Layer object

Boolean type

Clear
