Saving the archive when replacing the video signal device

In Axxon One, you can save the archive in case you want to replace the camera, NVR, or any other source of video signal.

To do this, do the following:

1. Delete the old device, but memorize its ID.
   

2. Create a new device in the system with the same ID (1) and bind it to the old archive (2, see Searching, adding, configuring and removing IP devices).
   

   Attention!

   Device model, IP address and any other device parameters can differ from the previous one.

If you replace NVR, the cameras must be connected to the same channels as before.

After creating a new device with the old ID, the archive recorded earlier will be available in the system.
