In the case of multi-user processing, only one operator can take an alarm event into processing. Other operators can switch to the Alarm management mode with limited functionality for the purpose of playing back the alarm event. This can be done in one of two ways:

  1. Click the  button (see Switching to the Alarm management mode).
  2. Go to the Alert panel tab and select an alarm event from the list.

In the Alarm management mode with limited functionality, the Alarm management buttons are not displayed. Instead, the name of the operator who is currently processing the alarm event is displayed. Other functions of the alarm processing window remain unchanged.

When an operator takes an alarm event into processing, another operator cannot take this event into processing.

After processing an event on another Client, the assigned status of the alarm event is displayed on this Client instead of the operator name.

If an operator, who took the alarm event into processing, exits the Alarm management mode (switches to the Live mode, Archive or Archive Search mode, to the window of another camera, and so on), and the time equal to the time of operator inactivity has elapsed since the moment of operator exit, then other operators are able to take the alarm event into processing.

If more than one alarm event appears for one camera, any operator can access all events not yet taken into processing.
