By default, the operator cannot save and load archive search templates when working with the video surveillance monitor (see Archive search templates). To allow the operator to use templates, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the User rights object.
  2. On the Main tab, expand the Archive parameters group.
  3. Set the Allow VMDA filters use checkbox (1).
  4. Click the Apply button (2).

Now the Save the template and Load the template items in the Archive search menu are available for the operator with the appropriate rights in the video surveillance monitor.

Note

The display of the Save the template and Load the template buttons is also configured by the CanUseVmdaFilters registry key (see Registry keys reference guide).
