Attention!

To integrate with ECHD, you must use Axxon PSIM user credentials that don't contain special characters (\, /, :, *, *, ?, |, ", and so on) in the login and password. This is a feature of receiving a stream via RTSP.

Axxon PSIM supports the integration with the Single Data Center (ECHD). Requests to Axxon PSIM from ECHD are sent via HTTP API, see Axxon PSIM HTTP API. Some requests have the http/https interface. These requests are used to receive the information on configuration. The RTSP server bound to the Web-server object streams live and archived video. You can bind several RTSP servers at a time.

Besides the binding of the RTSP server to the Web-server, for the ECHD requests to work, you must create the ECHD channel objects on the basis of the required Camera objects.

To enable the ECHD request processing and bind the RTSP Server object for ECHD request processing, do the following:

  1. Go to the Basic settings tab on the settings panel of the Web-server object (1).
  2. Set the ECHD translation checkbox (2).
  3. If the servers of the surveillance system are behind NAT when you interact with ECHD, then set the Use NAT address checkbox (3) to substitute the router address into the ECHD requests.

    Note

    Specify the address and port of the router during the configuration of the RTSP Server object.

  4. Go to the RTSP settings tab.
  5. Select one or several RTSP Server objects created and configured earlier by setting the checkboxes next to them.

  6. Click the Apply button.

Binding the RTSP Server objects to the Web-server is complete.
