User accounts are stored separately from operator accounts in Axxon PSIM. Some user rights can be assigned to several operators, and at the same time, several user rights can be assigned to one operator.
To assign rights and a password to the operator for authorization in Axxon PSIM, do the following:
Note
Without a password, access rights aren't assigned to the operator.
Note
The event of changing the password by the user is displayed in the event viewer.
Note
When you change the user login and/or password, the system breaks all external connections that the old connections used to connect to.
If you want to confirm the user login to the system by another user, select it from the Supervisor drop-down list (8).
Note
The user-supervisor must be added to rights.
Attention!
If the system uses the authorization type by the four-eyes rule (that is, with the supervisor confirmation), all system users, including supervisors, must log in to the system by login and password instead of the Windows user account (see steps 4-6).
Note
When you select this way of authorization, you mustn't enter any data in the login and password query panel when starting or shutting down Axxon PSIM. To start Axxon PSIM when a password is requested, click the Registration button. To shut down Axxon PSIM, click the Shutdown button.
Note
Operator authorization parameters remain the same when you assign them the subsequent rights. If you change them in some rights, they are automatically changed in others.
Assigning rights and a password to the operator for authorization in Axxon PSIM is complete.
