License activation using the Guardant dongle

Starting with Detector Pack 3.14, to operate with the license keys of the Motion in area detector VI and activate the license, do the following:

  1. Connect the Guardant USB dongle to the device on which you installed Axxon One.
  2. Install the driver:
    1. Download the archive.
    2. Unzip the content.
    3. Go to the directory with the archive contents.
    4. Run the driver installation script.

      sudo ./install.sh

If you successfully install the driver, the license keys are displayed on the page http://127.0.0.1:3189/#/dongles/list.

License activation is complete.

For Detector Pack 3.13 and earlier, use the following manual to activate and update the license:

To operate with the license keys of the Motion in area detector VI and activate/update the license, do the following:

  1. Download the archive.

  2. Unzip the content.
  3. Go to the directory with the archive contents.
  4. Open a terminal in the directory and provide access rights to start the script of driver installation:
    chmod 777 install.sh
  5. Run the driver installation script.

    sudo ./install.sh
  6. Open a browser and go to the page http://127.0.0.1:1947/checkin.html.

  7. On the page that opens, in the Select File: line, select the key with the v2c extension.

    Attention!

    To get the key with the v2c extension, you need to contact the AxxonSoft manager.

  8. Click the Apply File button. If activation is successful, the key is displayed on the page http://127.0.0.1:1947/devices.html.

The license activation/update is complete. After activation, in the /var/hasplm/installed/112198 directory, the folder with the v2c extension appears.

Deleting the license for Detector Pack 3.13 and earlier

To delete the license, do the following:

  1. Delete the license file with the v2c extension from the /var/hasplm/installed/112198 directory.
  2. Restart the OS.

Note

  • When you delete the license, only the key is deleted. All license restriction counters remain in the secure storage.
  • If you return the key to the root directory, it will be fully restored. Its counters will continue counting license restrictions from the moment when they stopped when the license file with the v2c. extension was deleted. The validity time of the license continues to count down even when the key is missing.

The license deletion is complete.
