If the map is multilayered, you must switch between the map layers. There are three options for switching between the map layers:
When you use the autoswitch option, you are switched to the map layer that detects an alarm event. For example, if the map window displays the A layer and at that moment of time the B layer detects an alarm event, then the B layer is displayed in the map window if the Autoswitch function is enabled. This map window can be displayed on top of all other windows. You can configure and activate auto switching between the map layers during the program configuration.
To switch between the layers using the links, create the special links between the map layers during the program configuration.
To switch between the map layers, use the link icons between or layers.
You can place any number of link icons between layers on one map layer that refer to any of the existing map layers. Also, you can add the link icon with the previous layer.
To switch to another map layer, left-click the icon corresponding to the required layer.
Besides, you can use the recursive search of alarm links on the map. When you enable it, the automatic search of devices that detect an alarm event on all map layers is performed. For example, there are three layers, where layer 1 is linked to layer 2, and layer 2 is linked to layer 3. If you enable the Search alarmed links recursively option, then the link icon from layer 3 on layer 2, as well as the link icon from layer 2 on layer 1, starts blinking since an alarm event is detected on layer 3. Otherwise, if you disable the Search alarmed links recursively option, only the link icon from layer 3 on layer 2 blinks. The Search alarmed links recursively option is enabled during the program configuration.
Note
If you configure the additional alarm indication on the layer using the special alarm icon, then the layer icon changes to the icon specified during the configuration and blinks when an alarm occurs (see Linking the layers of the interactive map).
To switch between the map layers using the function menu, right-click any map area that is free from object icons.
In the function menu that opens, select the Layers item and specify the layer to which you want to switch. If you group the map layers into the folders in the object tree during the system configuration, then first, select the corresponding folder and then the layer.
This way of switching between the layers doesn't require any preliminary configuration and allows switching from the current layer to any other layer permitted to the current user by rights.
