To initiate an alarm event manually, do the following:

1. In the lower-left corner of the Surveillance window, click the button.
   

2. As a result, an alarm event is initiated in the system. The alarm event is displayed on the Alert panel (see Alert panel). To assess an alarm event, click the button again.

   When in the Alarm management mode, the user who initiated the alarm event is displayed at the bottom of the Surveillance window. An alarm event initiated manually has a medium priority.
