When you select Operator’s workstation for Axxon One, you can select the workstation parameters:

Here you can select the NVIDIA graphics card (GPU) as the device to decode video streams for display by turning on the switch. Decoding on NVIDIA reduces the load on the CPU and improves the performance of the camera display. By default, it is turned off, and only the CPU resources are used for calculation. For more information on requirements for turning on and configuring, see Configuring hardware video decoding for display on the Client.

The calculation results depend on the selected decoding:

• when you turn off the switch, only CPU resources are used for calculation, the table with recommended GPUs isn’t displayed;

• when you turn on the switch, the calculation will include recommendations for both CPU and GPU.
