When configuring the Loitering in area detection tool, you must set the time an object can be in the analyzed area and the time detection mode, which lead to detection tool triggering.

To set the time an object can be in the analyzed area and the time detection mode, do the following:

1. Select the Loitering in area object from the list of detection tools.
   
2. In the Event duration to trigger detection (sec) field (1), enter the time in seconds of the object loitering in the analyzed area. This value must be in the range [0, 3600].
3. In the Time detection mode field, select the value:
   • Specified time—detection will trigger when the object leaves the area after spending there the specified time;
   • Longer than specified time—detection will trigger when the object leaves the area after spending there more than the specified time;
   • Shorter than specified time—detection will trigger when the object leaves the area after spending there less than the specified time.
4. Click the Apply button.
