If you selected videogate when adding camera to the monitor (see Selecting and configuring video cameras), the videogate archive opens by default. You can access the videogate archive via the surveillance window. To start the playback of videogate archive, click the icon in the bottom right corner of the surveillance window.

When the surveillance window isn't big enough, the icon can be hidden. In this case, enlarge the surveillance window. 

The playback control panel is displayed. It contains recordings of the videogate archive.

If you disable videogate for the camera of the surveillance window, then the server archive opens after you complete the steps described above (see Playback of server archive).

To open the server archive instead of the videogate archive, click and hold the button.

If the camera has a backup archive (see Playback of backup archive) configured in addition to the server and videogate archive, then you can access the server archive in the following way:

  1. Hover the mouse cursor over the icon in the surveillance window of the required camera.
  2. Click and hold the left mouse button for a few seconds until the context menu is displayed.
  3. Select VideoServer in the context menu. The playback control panel opens. It contains the recordings of the main server archive.
