The Event viewer object is a child object of the Display object and is used for displaying information about registered events. Events can be registered both locally and on the computers in the distributed system.

You can set the event transmission between computers on the Architecture tab of the Systems settings window (see Configuring the interaction of distributed system components).

You can create and configure the Event viewer object on the Interfaces tab of the System settings window.

To configure the Event viewer object, do the following:

  1. Select the events, the information of which you want to log in the Events viewer object if they are registered in the system (see Configuring event filters for displaying in the Event viewer).
  2. Set the parameters of the event viewer (see The parameters of the Event viewer).
  3. Configure the display of the Event viewer window (see Parameters of displaying the Event viewer interface window).
