General information about detectors and their sub-detectors

By default, the Axxon One distribution package includes only the basic DetectorPack (see Installation, Installing Axxon One in Linux OS).

To install add-ons to the basic package, do the following:

  1. Download the required packages from the official website.
  2. Stop the Server (see Shutting down a Server).
  3. Run the executable file and wait for the installation to complete.
  4. Start the Server (see Starting a Server).

Versions of the basic DetectorPack and the DetectorPack add-ons must be the same. If versions differ, you must update the version of the basic DetectorPack, so it matches the version of the DetectorPack add-ons.

All packages of the DetectorPack with detection tools and their sub-tools are described in the table:

For Pose Detection only:

VL Face Recognition Pack add-on
  • For the Face Detection VL to work, you must install two packages from the DetectorPack:
    • VL Face Recognition Pack add-on;
    • VL SDK Pack.
  • You can install only one of the optional Face Recognition packs: VA Face Recognition Pack add-on, VI Face Recognition Pack add-on, VL Face Recognition Pack add-on, or TV Face Recognition Pack add-on. You cannot install several packs in the same system.
VA Face Recognition Pack add-on
  • You can install only one of the optional Face Recognition packs: VA Face Recognition Pack add-on, VI Face Recognition Pack add-on, VL Face Recognition Pack add-on, or TV Face Recognition Pack add-on. You cannot install several packs in the same system.
  • VA Face Recognition Pack is guaranteed to work on Linux Debian 11 and Ubuntu 20. Face Recognition Packs isn't guaranteed to work on Linux Debian 9/10, Ubuntu 18 and Ubuntu 19 (see Operating system requirements).
TV Face Recognition Pack add-on
  • You can install only one of the optional Face Recognition packs: VA Face Recognition Pack add-on, VI Face Recognition Pack add-on, VL Face Recognition Pack add-on or TV Face Recognition Pack add-on. You cannot install several packs in the same system.
  • TV Face Recognition Pack is guaranteed to work on Linux Debian 11 and Ubuntu 20. Face Recognition Packs isn't guaranteed to work on Linux Debian 9/10, Ubuntu 18 and Ubuntu 19 (see Operating system requirements).
VI Face Recognition Pack add-on
  • You can install only one of the optional Face Recognition packs: VA Face Recognition Pack add-on, VI Face Recognition Pack add-on, VL Face Recognition Pack add-on or TV Face Recognition Pack add-on. You cannot install several packs in the same system.

VL SDK Pack (must be installed when you install VL Face Recognition Pack and VL PPE)
  • For the Face detector VL to work, you must install two packages from the DetectorPack:
    • VL Face Recognition Pack add-on;
    • VL SDK Pack.

  • For the PPE detection VL to work, you must install two packages from the DetectorPack:

    • VL PPE add-on;
    • VL SDK Pack.
