To view and/or export events of the system log, first you must search for them.

To search for events of the system log, you must specify one or several filters:

  1. Time period, during which the events were registered.
  2. Event type:
    1. Debug info.
    2. Info.
    3. Alarm.
    4. Error.
    5. Audituser actions in the system.

  3. A key phrase contained in descriptions of the system events.
The time period is a mandatory filter, while the event type and key phrase are optional.

To specify a search filter, do the following:

  1. In the From (1) and To (2) fields, enter the date and time of the beginning and end of the period, during which the events you are searching for were registered.

    • The date and time must be specified in DD/MM/YYYY and HH:MM:SS formats.
    • By default, events are searched for the current day.

  2. Select event types for a search (3).

  3. Select a domain, where you need to search for events (4).

  4. If you selected to search for user actions (the Audit type), choose a particular system user (5). If no user is selected, the search returns actions of all system users.

  5. In the Search text field (6), enter the initial text of the event that you want to find.

You can use OR and AND logical operators when searching data in the system log:

  • to search with the OR logical operator, separate the words with the symbol "|";
  • to search with the AND logical operator, separate the words with a space.

Specifying filters for event search is complete. Next you must start the event search (see Event search procedure).
