To work with the WEB server 3.0 subsystem, use the corresponding WEB server 3.0 hardware object.

To work with Axxon PSIM via a web service, you must preinstall the WEB server 3.0 subsystem on the computer (see Installation of the WEB server 3.0 subsystem), and the Axxon PSIM user must be authorized in the web client of the WEB server 3.0 subsystem.

Create the WEB server 3.0 object

  1. Go to the Hardware tab in the system settings.
  2. Right-click the Computer object, and in the context menu that opens, select Create objectWEB server 3.0.
  3. The number and name are entered into the fields automatically. If necessary, you can change them.
  4. Click the Apply button.

As a result, the WEB server 3.0 object is created along with the ONVIF Server (Web server 3.0) and RTSP Server (Web server 3.0) objects associated with it. These objects are required to work with web server 3.0. You don't need to delete them.

You can select the IP interface and RTSP server parameters of the ONVIF Server (Web server 3.0) object and select cameras of the RTSP Server (Web server 3.0) object via the WEB server 3.0 object. You cannot change these parameters on the settings panels of these objects. You can change other parameters of the ONVIF Server (Web server 3.0) object and RTSP Server (Web server 3.0) object on the settings panels.

Configuration of the Web server 3.0 object

  1. In the hardware tree, select the created Web server 3.0 object.

  2. On the settings panel of the object, in the Address field, specify the IP address of the computer on which the WEB server 3.0 subsystem is installed.
  3. In the Web port field, specify the port number of the web server 3.0. The default value is 80. If necessary, you can change the port number after the first connection.
  4. In the Login field, leave the default root value.
  5. In the Password field, enter a new password specified during authorization of the web client of the WEB server 3.0 subsystem.

For the information on the authorization of the web client, see Starting and logging in to the Web-Client.

  6. In the Server field, enter the network name of the computer on which the WEB server 3.0 subsystem is installed.
  7. In the Server login and Server password fields, enter the username and password for Axxon PSIM.
  8. From the Network drop-down list, select the network interface of the computer on which Axxon PSIM is installed.
  9. If you want to save network traffic, set the Break unused connections checkbox. The checkbox is set by default.
  10. In the table on the right, select the Axxon PSIM cameras whose video you want to transmit via the web server 3.0.
  11. Click the Refresh button to synchronize with AxxonPSIM. This button initiates reading and updating of the Axxon PSIM configuration to retrieve information and send it to the WEB server 3.0 subsystem.
  12. If you use a cloud connection for authorization in the web server 3.0
    1. Go to the Cloud authorization tab.

    2. From the drop-down list, select the created Cloud authorization object (see Cloud authorization for sending push notifications from Axxon PSIM).
    3. Click the Connect to cloud button.

For details on the AxxonSoft cloud service, see AxxonNet documentation.

  13. Click the Apply button.

Configuration of the Web server 3.0 object is complete.

For the subsystem to operate correctly, you must add the required cameras to the automatically created ONVIF Server (Web server 3.0) and RTSP Server (Web server 3.0) objects, and the ports used must not be blocked.

To view video from the cameras, log in again in the web client and create a camera layout.
