Limiting access to the tabs of the System settings window

By default, the operator has no access to the administrative functions of the system objects on any tabs of the System settings window.

The operator can be granted administrative rights to the system objects of one or more tabs of the System settings window. In this case, the operator can open the System settings window.

To allow the operator to administer system objects on one or more tabs, do the following:

1. Open the Users tab in the System settings window (1).
2. In the object tree in the lower left part of the screen, select the user rights corresponding to the account of operator rights that you want to change. The settings panel of the User rights object opens on the right.
   The last five checkboxes in the Configuring group, which have the same names as the tabs, correspond to the rights to access the tabs in the System settings window.
   In the Configuring group, set the checkboxes corresponding to those tabs of the System settings window to which you want the operator to have access (3).
3. Click the Apply button.
