To arm a microphone, select it in the microphone list and click .

If the signal strength of the microphone signal, while being armed, exceeds the threshold, recording will startstarts. Otherwise, the microphone will be is armed, and recording will start, starts when the pre-defined predefined threshold level of the microphone signal is exceeded.
