The layout defines determines the number and location position of surveillance windows on the video surveillance monitor. To You can change the location position of surveillance windows on the monitor, drag them with the using the mouse. The operator can compose create custom window layouts if he (she) is given permissions they are given rights to control the Monitor object.
To control the layout, use menu, called up by the Screens button on the video monitor tools panel.the menu that you can open by clicking the Displays button on the toolbar of the video surveillance monitor.

Create and delete layouts
To develop create a new layout:
- click Click the Screens Displays button on the video surveillance monitor;.
- select Select the Add option in the menu;.
- enter Enter the name of the new layout in a dialog boxwindow that opens.
Then a new layout will appear appears in the layout list.
To select a layout, click its name in the list. To delete an existing layout, use the Delete option in the menu command.

If you enable the Overlay 1 mode is chosen during the system setup , and the monitor displays six surveillance windows, the surveillance windows' layout cannot be changed. The Screens Displays menu also allows assigning default layouts. The default layout will be is displayed when Intellect is launched. Use the UseDefaultLayoutOnlyAtStartup registry key to display the you start Axxon PSIM. To use the default layout each time the corresponding screen with the Video surveillance monitor is displayed, use the UseDefaultLayoutOnlyAtStartup key of the registry section HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AxxonSoft\PSIM\Video (see Registry Keys Reference Guidekeys reference guide).
Select Screens - To select a default layout, go to Displays → Set by default, then select a layout to be set by defaultthe required layout.
The default layout is highlighted in bold in the list.
