Axxon One uses the Event source object to get events from external eventssystems. To create the object, make sure thatdo the following:

1. Run Go to the IP Device Discovery Wizard on the Devices tab (see see Searching, adding, configuring, and removing IP devices).
2. In the form for manually adding an IP devicea device in the Device type field, select Event source  in the Device type dropfrom the drop-down list.
   
3. In the Vendor field, select the required manufacturer of the device from the drop-down list.
4. Click the Click the  button.

The Event source object is added to the system.
