Axxon One uses the Event source object to get external events. To create the object, make sure that:

  1. Run IP Device Discovery Wizard (see Searching, adding, configuring and removing IP devices).
  2. In the form for manually adding an IP device, select Event source in the Device type drop-down list.
  3. Click the  button.

The Event source object is added to the system.

Note

Once created, the Event source object is enabled by default. To disable, select No in the Enable field.
