1. In the lower-left corner of the Surveillance window, click the button.
   

2. The operation will initiate an alarm event that will be displayed on the As a result, an alarm event is initiated in the system. The alarm event is displayed on the Alert panel (see Alert panel). To assess an alarm event, click the button again.

   When in the Alarm Management management mode, the user who initiated the alarm event will be is displayed at the bottom of the the Surveillance window. An alarm event initiated manually has a medium priority.
