To configure create the Hands up detectiondetector, do the following:

  1. Create
    2.  Pose Detection (see Configuring the Pose Detection
  2. the Human pose detector (see Configuring the Human pose detector).
  3. Below the
    4.  Pose Detection, click 
  4. Human pose detector, click Create… → Hands up
    5. detection

By default, the the Hands up detection generates detector generates an event if there is a person with both hands raised in a specified area.

If necessary, you can change the detection tool detector parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:

Specify the minimum number of frames with a person with a hand/hands raised for the detection tool detector to generate an event.   The value must be in the range [1, 20].
The recommended (default) value is is 2.
Increasing the value can help eliminate false events , but increases the risk of skips. 
Decreasing the value can help reduce skips, but increases the probability of false events

If necessary, you can configure the detection area. For this, do the following:

  1. Click in the preview window.
  2. Select Detection area.
  3. Using the anchor points Image Added, set the detection area in which a person with both hands raised must be detected.

  • The Hands up detection works in the areas for detection and skip areas specified in the Pose Detection (see Configuring the Pose Detection).
  • For convenience of configuration, you can "freeze" the frame. Click the
    • Image Removed
  • Image Added button. To cancel the action, click this button again.
  • The area for detection is displayed by default. To hide it, click the
    • Image Removed
  • Image Added button. To cancel the action, click this button again.
  • To delete the detection area, click the Image Added button.

To save the parameters of the detection tooldetector, click the Apply Image Removed button. To Apply Image Added button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel Image Removed buttonCancel Image Added button.

Configuration of the Hands up detector is complete.
