Configuring the external map server

The external map server corresponds to the source from which the Axxon PSIM Map layer receives images for the layer substrate.

Configure the external map server as follows:

1. Create the Map server object under the Computer object on the Hardware tab of the System settings dialog box (1).
   
   
2. In the Tile Server field, enter a link to an external map (2). By default, a link to the free OpenStreetMap map is set: http://tile.openstreetmap.org
   
3. Click Apply (3).

Later, select this map server as the background when creating a Map Layer – see Creating the layers of the interactive map.

The external map server configuration is completed.
