A distributed system based on Axxon One is created within a domain, it means, a selected group of Axxon One Servers.

When configuring a domain, the following operations are used in the necessary combinations:

  1. Creating a new domain.
  2. Adding a Server to an existing domain.
  3. Excluding a Server from the current domain.

Attention!

You cannot combine regular and Failover Servers within the same domain (see Configuring Failover VMS).

To configure a domain, you must have the appropriate permissions (see Configuring user permissions).

This section gives step-by-step instructions for each operation used in configuring a domain, and then describes typical instances of their use.
