To configure the object of the Modbus master integration module, do the following:
- Go to the settings panel of the Modbus master object.
- If you select COM Port in the Connection type field, in the COM settings section:
- In the COM Port field, specify the number of the COM port for connection to the Modbus Server.
- From the Connection speed drop-down list, select the COM port bit transfer rate per second:
- 9600 (default),
- 19200,
- 57600,
- 115200.
- From the Transport type drop-down list, select the protocol type for connection to the Modbus Server.
- ASCII (default),
- RTU.
- If you select TCP or UDP in the Connection type field, in the Ethernet settings section:
- In the Port field, specify the port for connection to the Modbus Server. The default value is 502.
- In the IP address field, specify the IP address of the Modbus Server.
- In the Configuration settings section:
- In the Device count field, specify the number of devices connected via the Modbus protocol.
- From the Connection type drop-down list, select a connection type:
- TCP,
- UDP,
- COM-Port (default).
- Click the Apply button to save the settings.
- Click the button and select Download configuration from the drop-down list.
- Click the Apply button to save the settings.
