Managing the terminal configuration

To manage the configuration of the BioSmart Quasar 7 terminal, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the BioSmart Quasar 7 object that is created on the basis of the BioSmart object.
  2. Click the Initialization button to delete all data on users, access cards, palm vein templates, and time schedules.
  3. Click the Update access button to save access data (data on palm vein templates, access cards, user time schedules, and so on) to the terminal.
  4. Click the Set time button to synchronize the time of the terminal and the ACFA PSIM server to which the terminal is connected.
  5. Set the Create templates from Access Manager photos checkbox so that the face templates are created automatically at full user registration or, if the Dynamics checkbox is set (see Configuring the BioSmart parent object) via the ALGO5 algorithm. If you don't set the checkbox, the face templates are created manually via the BioSmart extension in the Access Manager. For more detail, see the page below.
  6. Click the Apply button to save the settings.

Managing the configuration of the BioSmart Quasar 7 terminal is complete. 

Creating a user face template manually

To add a face template manually, do the following:

  1. Open the user settings in editing mode.
  2. Right-click the user photo and select the BioSmart parent object as the extension (fo the information on how to work with extensions, see Adding biometric parameters).
  3. Select a location for uploading the photo:
    1. Photo from "Access Manger"
    2. Another photo

  4. Select Algo2 from the Algorithm drop-down list.
  5. Click the Create template button.
  6. To save the template, click the Ready button.

Creating a user face template manually is complete.
