The ddi.exe utility for editing database templates and external settings file

The ddi.exe utility is designed for editing files of external (*.ddi) system settings and templates of the psim.dbi and psim.ext.dbi main database.

You can start the ddi.exe utility from the Start -> Axxon PSIM -> System configuration menu.

The ddi.exe utility is available from the Start menu with the following Axxon PSIM installation types: Server, Remote administrator workstation, Remote client.

You can also start the utility from the Tools64 folder of the Axxon PSIM installation directory.

After you make changes to the *.ddi and/or *.dbi files, update the main database. To do this, use the idb.exe utility (see the The idb.exe utility for converting databases, selecting database templates and making backup copies of databases section).
