How to transfer DB configuration from one server to another?

To transfer the Axxon PSIM database from one server to another, you need to create a database backup copy on the source server and then expand it on the new one.

At the time of creating this page, MS SQL Server 2019 is supplied as part of the Axxon PSIM distribution package. Earlier versions include MS SQL Server 2014. And even earlier versions include MS SQL Server 2008. If you create a configuration backup in MS SQL Server 2008, you can deploy it to MS SQL Server 2014. But if you create a configuration backup in MS SQL Server 2014, you cannot deploy it to MS SQL Server 2008.
