You can extend the space of an archive volume.

Extending the space of an archive volume as a partition

You can extend the space of an archive volume as a partition only on standard storage media. You cannot extend a volume on a RAID array.

Attention!

AxxonSoft cannot guarantee archive data integrity after this action is complete.

To extend the space, do the following:

  1. Stop the Axxon One server (see Stop the server).
  2. Use the Windows Disk Management utility to extend the space of a volume.
  3. Start the server (see Starting the server).

Extending the space of an archive volume as a file

To extend the space of an archive volume as a file, use the -expand parameter in the console utility for working with archives (see Console utility for working with archives (vfs_format.exe)).

Extending the space of an object archive volume

You can extend the space of an object archive volume by using the Archive size parameter in the interface (see Creating a cloud archive), and via the gRPC API (see Resize cloud archive using gRPC API methods).
