General information

After you install Axxon One (see Installation), the administrator can change the default network ports used by system components (see Ports used by Axxon One). This can be necessary for:

  • Resolving conflicts with other software.
  • Compliance with corporate security policies.
  • Organizing work through restricted firewalls.

This instruction describes how to change:

  • The NativeBL kernel port.
  • The server port range.

Attention!

Changing ports requires restarting the corresponding services. If you enter incorrect values, it can result in loss of communication between system components. We recommend you back up the configuration and system state before proceeding (see Backup and restore utility).

Change the NativeBL port

To change the NativeBL port, you need to create the NGP_NATIVE_BL_PORT system variable and assign it a value corresponding to the required port (see Creating system variable).

Change the server port range

You can change the server port range using the Network settings utility (see Network settings utility).
