Events search is used to select events in the archive based on the type of event. For correct operation of the events search, the following is required:

  • Access permissions to search in the archive (see Role).
  • A detector that is configured and connected to the camera (see Detectors).

To search for events, do the following:

  1. Open the required layout (see Configuring layouts).
  2. Select the required camera.
  3. Click the Search button in the lower right corner of the surveillance window (see Search in archive).
  4. Set a search interval (see Setting a search interval).
  5. Click the button.
  6. Select Events search
  7. Specify the search criteria listed in the table:
    CriterionValueDescription
    Events search
Event typeSelect the required event type from the drop-down list

    Recording start

The search finds the beginning and end of recordings from the specified camera regardless of the initiator

    Detector triggers

The search finds moments when detectors generated events

    All alarms

The search finds moments in the archive containing all types of alarms

    Confirmed alarm

The search finds moments in the archive containing confirmed alarms

    Suspicious situation

The search finds moments in the archive containing suspicious situations

    False alarm

    Initiator
Select an event initiator from the drop-down list. An operator, input, camera detector, or any detector activated in the system can act as an event initiator. The search result displays the moments in the archive that the initiator started. When you search for any type of alarm or for the Detector triggers type to search in the lists of faces (see Faces (AxxonNet), Faces (AxxonData)) or license plates (see LPs (AxxonNet), LPs (AxxonData)), select Real-time recognition as an initiator with a specific list. To do this, enable the Check in lists parameter in the settings of the Face detectors and License plate detectors (see Checking in lists of faces, Checking in lists of LPs)
    Comment

Enter text to search for specific events that had comments added when alarms triggered. You can filter the events by the Comment criterion only for the following types:

    • All alarms
    • Confirmed alarm
    • Suspicious situation
    • False alarm

  8. Click the Search button. If necessary, click the button to add additional similar search conditions.

    Attention!

    • To search in the embedded storage of an IP device (for example, a camera or recorder) for events from the embedded detectors, you must synchronize the server and IP device (see Axxon One requirements). If you don't perform synchronization, there can be discrepancies between the time of detector events and the time of frames in the archive.
    • You can stop the search at any time. To do this, click the Stop button that replaces the Search button.

The search results panel displays frames that meet the specified search criteria:

The number of frames displayed on the results panel depends on the screen resolution and frame size. You can change the size using the slider:
